Supervisors of Elections to discuss election-related bills at the capital on April 17th
Tallahassee, FL—April 15, 2013: This Wednesday, April 17th, members of the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections (FSASE) will visit the state capital for the FSASE “Legislative Day”. Supervisors of Elections from across Florida will meet with legislators to discuss the election-related legislation proposed for 2013.
“We at FSASE appreciate the attention placed on state election laws this legislative session,” said Vicki Davis, FSASE President. “We look forward to the opportunity to meet with our legislators in person and speak on behalf of elections offices and voters in our communities.”
FSASE’s 2013 legislative package includes support of limiting word count for amendments on the ballot, permitting more flexibility in early voting site selection, and expanding the maximum allowed number of early voting days. More details are available at MyFloridaElections.com.
