Campaign issues mail piece potentially creating voter confusion
“It has come to our attention that the ‘Let’s Get to Work’ campaign released a mail piece indicating that vote-by-mail ballots, often referred to as absentee ballots, should have already arrived for voters. This is not the case. The earliest domestic vote-by-mail ballots can go out is September 30th and may be sent to voters through October 31st by statute. Please keep this timetable in mind if you receive this campaign mailer.”
